Please don’t show up to studio without an appointment booked. If you have any questions or interest in getting tattooed, just send a message.
If you ended up here looking to get tattooed by my wife, Amanda, please send an email directly to her. Keep in mind, she is currently on maternity leave: agracietattoo@gmail.com
Please fill out the submission form if you are looking to get tattooed. I ask that you be patient. You may not receive a response right away, or at all, but be assured, your requests will be counted and sorted through. This is just in effort not to overwhelm or to mislead anyone interested in my work with potential availability. Feel free to reach back out if you feel you’ve been overlooked.
A few notes on pricing.
My current rate is $200/hr. For the sake of keeping things simple and consistent with pricing, I can offer a few different flat rate options for our session(s):
2hr session, starting @ 11am or 3pm, $400
3hr session, starting @ 11am or 2pm, $600
5hr (Day) session, starting @ 11am, $1000
These sessions will sometimes include various levels of drawing directly to skin, or adjustment to the drawing requested by the client, which usually goes pretty quickly. I think I’m a reasonable person, so if there are too many hiccups or too much time spent NOT actually tattooing, we can re-consider the price of the session afterward.
The exception to this pricing goes as follows; Anytime we’re starting a new large-scale project (e.g. 1/2 sleeve, full sleeve, back piece, etc), I’ll likely need extra time to prepare and lay everything out for you, as well as drawing-on and shooting back and forth with you about our ideas. These first sessions on any project will require a full day. During this portion of the project, I will only charge you for time tattooing, as soon as we put the needle to skin, as opposed to a flat day-rate (5hr).
This system, I believe, will help keep things straight forward for both you and I. It should make it easier for you to plan ahead for the cost of a project so as not to be shell shocked after a session. This will also help me plan for my weeks and family security financially. If you aren't sure about your pain tolerance, please keep that in mind when inquiring about a longer session. The flat rate is exactly that. You're paying for the time slot, so let's make the most of it!
Lastly, I require a $200 (1hr) deposit in order to set up a project. That $200 will come out of the final price of the tattoo on our LAST session, or carry over into the next project if that's where things go. You can send that over to my Venmo (@Lambdin_) or Paypal (www.paypal.me/mattlambdin).
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out for clarity!
